The Equitable Tech-Enabled Care Summit (ETEC) aims to provide a deliberative space for a diverse group of industry leaders, technologists and clinicians to address institutional barriers to health equity through the development of strategic partnerships.
Investments in digital health have grown tremendously and have already begun to shape the future of healthcare and wellbeing. However, we have not seen equitable access of these new models of care to a diverse set of people. As new health technologies are developed, the digital divide is a hindrance to equal access. The Coronavirus 2019 pandemic has shown that we need new strategies for reaching health equity, so we have been called to bring together thought leaders to spark solutions.
Utilizing the powerful tool of design thinking, we will explore themes and address barriers that can alter the current paradigm and improve healthcare. By harnessing the shared values and passion of participants, ETEC will spur inter-disciplinary conversations that can uniquely tackle the most intimidating challenges. This event offers a plenary session, breakout sessions, and an opportunity for networking.
